Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025 – Leaving no girl behind💕🩸

In Commemoration of the World Menstrual Hygiene Day 2025, Chrissy Foundation made a powerful impact reaching a total of 758 girls with education, support, and essential menstrual hygiene resources.

With the kind support of our Increadible Team Members, Sponsors – Ideal Air Services Ghana Ltd and Beauty World Wigs as well as other individuals, we went the extra mile by providing each girl with sanitary pads, pain medications, miconazole cream, hand sanitizers,handwash soap and a sweet reminder of love in the form of chocolate,candies.

We broke the silence around periods and took the conversation beyond whispers and stigma straight to the hearts of the young girls who need it most.

Our journey began in the morning at Prince KKMA 1 & 2, where we engaged 304 girls in practical education on menstrual hygiene, proper pad usage, body confidence, and how to manage their periods with dignity and pride.

In the afternoon, we continued our outreach at the Zenu KKMA Cluster of Schools, empowering 220 girls at KKMA 4 and 238 girls at KKMA 2 with the same life changing information and supplies.

Together, we reminded them that:

• Menstruation is natural, not dirty

• The importance of Menstraul health, hygiene and management

• Access to hygiene products is a right, not a privilege

• No girl should miss out on life because of her period

Let’s continue to raise our voices, break barriers, and create safe spaces where girls can bleed with pride, not fear because every girl deserves to manage her period with dignity, no matter where she lives.
