Support in Drilling and Construction of Boreholes in strategic communities

In many communities across the Eastern Region, access to clean water is more than just a challenge—it is an urgent necessity that is unmet daily. In Otrokper and other towns, residents face the daunting task of trekking long distances to access water sources that are often contaminated and unsafe for consumption. The consequences of this dire situation are severe: waterborne diseases such as cholera, dysentery, and typhoid fever are prevalent, leading to high morbidity rates, strained healthcare systems, and a cycle of poverty exacerbated by poor health and lost productivity.

The burden of fetching water falls disproportionately on women and children, particularly young girls who often miss school to help their families secure water for basic needs. Adults are similarly diverted from economically productive activities, perpetuating a cycle of poverty and dependency. This project aims to provide more than just water; it seeks to create a ripple effect of positive change by improving health, education, and economic opportunities in these underserved communities.

Chrissy Foundation calls on Philanthropists, Corperate bodies etc. to support in drilling and Construction of Boreholes in strategic communities across Ghana. Our primary objective is to ensure that at least 10,000 people gain direct  access to clean and safe water within their own communities.
And Distribution of Learning materials to the Pupils.
