Institutional Capacity Building on Gender Based Violence Case Management Training was held on the 14th of June,2022 in the GA South Municipal Assembly Hall within the framework of Chrissy Foundation’s project implementation with Plan International to coordinate Gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and response in humanitarian settings.
The primary objective of this training is to build the understanding of, and capacity in the case of management for GBV survivors. In support of this, the training also aimed to improve understanding of GBV, its causes and consequences, the underpinning theoretical frameworks and survivor-centered approaches.
The training brought together front line workers including social workers, caseworkers, and Health Workers directly dealing with GBV survivors.
