This activity form part of Chrissy Foundation’s mandate in making menstruation a normal fact of life, empower menstruators to dismantle taboos and to increase access to age-appropriate menstrual health and hygiene education and safe sanitation facilities to ensure holistic fight to end violence against women and girls amidst Covid-19.
The campaign was celebrated with inter-class games, lot of entertainment and educating all genders, including boys, about periods. Girls were then given free sanitary pads to make sure they have access and they can start their periods with support.
