Widowhood can be a difficult time, both emotionally and financially. Many widows find themselves struggling to make ends meet after the death of their spouse. Vocational training can be a great way for widows to gain the skills they need to get back on their feet and support themselves and their families.
Losing a spouse is a life-altering experience that brings about numerous challenges and uncertainties. We recognize the unique struggles faced by widows and believe in their untapped potential to rebuild their lives and create a better future. That is why we have developed this specialized program, designed to equip widows with the skills, knowledge, and resources they need to regain their independence, pursue new opportunities, and thrive.
SDG 1 and 5 which tackles the issues of No poverty and Equal opportunities for all. With this in Mind Chrissy Foundation on 3rd,June,2023 took upon itself to help increase women economic levels to build stronger families and communities.
This year’s training encompasses widows, single mothers and young Girls and 2 males of Mamprobi Sempe in the Abelekuma south municipality, a total of 58 Participants.
This training came at NO cost (FREE) to the beneficiaries, these beneficiaries were trained in.
Women who were trained acquired the skills they require to begin a new career. This may result in increased purchasing power and a more stable financial situation.
